CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

A trial date was set Wednesday afternoon for a Shreveport man charged with murdering three brothers.

Marcus Donte Reed, 34 will face a jury on three counts of 1st degree murder on Oct. 22nd, according to the Caddo Parish District Attorney's Office.

Reed allegedly shot Jeremiah, Jarquis and Gene Adams in August 2010. According to investigators, the brothers were all in a Chevy Malibu outside of a home in the 9600 block of Keatchie-Marshall Rd. when Reed ambushed them with gunfire.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office said the deadly attack with an SKS assault rifle was in retaliation over Reed's XBox video game system being stolen days prior.
