CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -
Just before 4 a.m. Tuesday morning Shreveport Police and Caddo Parish sheriffs stopped a driver for driving the wrong way on the interstate.
According to police the driver was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 in Greenwood, Louisiana. He had been reportedly driving for several miles before being stopped.
Caddo deputies took the suspect into custody and say they suspect the driver was under the influence of some substance.
The suspect's name and charges have not yet been released.
