CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

Three vehicles confiscated by Shreveport-Caddo narcotics agents following investigations into illegal drug activities will be sold at public auction this weekend.

"We are working vigorously to send out a message to those who might be contemplating getting into the illegal drug trafficking that we will not only prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law, but we will also seize their vehicles and sell them at public auction," said Caddo Parish District Attorney Charles Scott.

The auction is scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 11th at the Lawler Auction Facility located at 7781 Hwy. 1 North in Caddo Parish.

Items to be auctioned off include a 2004 Lincoln TownCar, 2006 Suzuki GSX 600F motorcycle and a 2002 BMW 745i sedan.

All three vehicles will be sold at a government surplus auction, cash only and all vehicles will be sold "as is" without warranty, according to Caddo authorities.
