TEXARKANA, AR (KSLA) -

A Hooks, Texas motorcyclist was killed Friday afternoon in Texarkana, Arkansas after a SUV pulled out in front of him.

Texarkana police say the crash happened around 1 p.m. in the 2000 block of South Lake Drive. Police say 48-year-old Dominic Mazzucco was killed while riding his 1988 Harley Davidson motorcycle when a 2003 GMC Yukon driven by 26-year-old Humberto Hernadez-Domingez tried to turn in front of Mazzucco. Mazzucco hit the right side of the Yukon causing multiple injuries.

"Yes, it was very frightening. I didn't know what was going on. I was just like ‘Am I seeing this?' It was just like something I have never seen before," says Georgia Shepard, witness.

Mazzucco was taken to the Wadley Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Police say Mazzucco was not wearing a helmet. Police say charges are pending against Hernandez-Domingez. The owner of the Yukon, 30-year-old Javier Gomez, was cited for allowing an unlicensed driver to operate a motor vehicle.
