CANTON, TX (KLTV) - An East Texas business has been shut down after authorities discovered an alleged prostitution operation.
Canton police made the bust at a massage parlor in the 1300 block of South Trade Days Boulevard.
"They called it a feet wash they said you got your feet wash and they would say it was $50 an hour, but they would tell different people different things like I had a guy that works here with me go over there to see what they would say and he went in there and asked what they did and they told him full body massage and other stuff," said Amber Austin, worked next to business.
Van Zandt County officials said on December 16, 2011 Canton Police arrested You Genzhen and Ma Young for prostitution and operating a massage business without a license.
"I actually wasn't here that day but I heard about it that they had the people lined up outside and that there was four or five police cars I guess," said Austin.
Austin is the owner of Bellum and Rogue and worked two doors down from the massage business, formerly known as Happy Feet, or Feet Wash.
"I never saw any women working there you know see them coming in and out so I didn't really know them," said Austin.
Austin said it did not take her long to notice something wasn't right with the establishment.
"I thought it was kind of weird because there's no women and a lot of women in town mentioned how they'd gone and they turned them away you know told them they needed an appointment or that they didn't do women there so I thought it was a little strange," said Austin.
Austin explained it was normal to see anywhere from 5 to 10 men come in here on a daily basis.
"They would have their open sign on at like 8 O' clock at night even on a Sunday a couple of times I noticed sometimes guys would come up and they would try to open the door and it would be locked and they'd leave and I noticed some of the same people there more than once," said Austin.
Austin also explained the business solicited business on craigslist.
The owners of the massage business are still in the Van Zandt County Jail.
Officials also tell us Immigration and Customs Enforcement has also been contacted.
