Since the attacks of 9/11, thousands of U.S. servicemen and women have been injured or killed in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
There is an organization dedicated to helping those who have been adversely affected by injuries or death in the line of duty. It's called Hope for the Warriors.
This holiday season, Hope for the Warriors has a special giving initiative. The organization is accepting donations for military families. Qualifying families receive gift cards in time for Christmas.
The program serves all branches of the military including reservists and the National Guard. You can go to this website to donate.
