It's been pretty cold lately and many more bone chilling days are ahead.
KSLA News 12 along with Porter's Cleaners want to make sure children in the Ark-La-Tex have a warm coat to wear this winter. That's why we've again launched the Coats for Kids program.
We are collecting used coats, that are still in good shape and giving them to children who need them this winter. Of course, new coats are also welcome.
You can drop off your coat at any Porter's Cleaners, here at KSLA News 12 Studios or at an area elementary school.
Porter's will make sure they get cleaned and ready for a new child to use this winter.
We've done the 'Coats for Kids' collection drive for more than two decades. Over that time, thousands of children have received recycled coats because of your generosity. Thanks for helping again. I'm James Smith.
