Construction is moving right along on the 2011 House for Hope. The home is valued at $370,000. It's a four bedroom, 3 bathroom home located in the Les Maison Sur La Rouge subdivision in Shreveport.
The House for Hope is a fundraising project for Community Renewal. Community Renewal will use the money to build Friendship Houses in depressed neighborhoods.
Friendship Houses have been proved to help turn neighborhoods around, decrease crime use and drug use, and provide a safe place for children after school.
