Brittany Pieper grew up in Plano, TX, but she's no stranger to Louisiana. Most of her extended family lives in Southern Louisiana so she spent a lot of time in the state growing up, and she is thrilled to be so close to home and family.
Before coming to Shreveport in June of 2010 she spent 2 years as the weekend anchor, producer, and reporter at KCBD, the NBC affiliate in Lubbock, TX.
Brittany attended the University of Missouri. While there, she earned degrees in Journalism and Political Science. She also worked as a reporter and weekend anchor at KOMU, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, MO.
She has a younger sister, Megan, who attends school at Brittany's Alma Matter, the University of Missouri. Her parents and her younger brother Grant still live in the Dallas area. She likes to visit them as often as she can.
