With the cold front now passed, we begin a cooler and drier weather pattern that will feel more like winter. We will have a sun and clouds mix tonight and into tomorrow, with a morning low around 40 and a high tomorrow in the mid to upper 50's.

Kicking off the work week, lows will stay in the 30's with highs in the upper 50's.

    Foam and gunk floating along the Red River was the cause of some concern for a few ArkLaTex residents. KSLA News 12 received several phone calls asking us to investigate.

  • The National Weather Service has done surveys on the wind damage from storms near Blanchard, Louisiana and around Sydney Street in the Martin Luther King neighborhood of Shreveport. They determined this damage to be the result of "MicroBurst" winds. This is the result of rain-cooled air accelerating downward. In a storms and spreading out at a destructive speed when it hits the ground.
