KSLA News 12 Shreveport, Louisiana |Man dies in 3 car crash on I-220

BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) – KSLA News 12 has learned that a man has died as the result of a three car crash just before 7 p.m. Thursday.
Louisiana State Police tell us that a GMC truck was traveling westbound on Interstate 220, when it crossed over the grassy median and hit a Toyota 4Runner traveling eastbound.
After the impact, the truck then spun around and hit a white Ford truck, then flipped once and landed up-right.
The driver of the GMC truck was not restrained, and was partially ejected. He has been pronounced dead. The driver of the white Ford truck has been air-lifted to an area hospital.
Right now, state police say they don't know the cause of the wreck, but toxicology tests are pending and the crash is still under investigation.
