
UPDATE: Tucson Police Department says that 13 people were arrested at the SB1070 protest today in downtown Tucson.
At the Tucson Police press conference, officials stated that 12 people were arrested for failure to disperse and one person was arrested for threats and intimidation, to someone that was not a police officer.
Tucson Police sent 200 officers to the scene to monitor and watch the protest.
About 350 protestors were at the scene in downtown Tucson.
Tucson Police officials stated that the protest was non-violent and there were no reported injuries.
TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - Protestors have spilled into the streets of downtown Tucson at Congress Street and Granada Avenue.
The intersection is now closed due to the protestors.
SB 1070 protestors have been there all day holding up signs.
