Shreveport Police officer arrested

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – Shreveport Police have arrested one of their own, after receiving a call from the officer's wife Sunday night.

After an investigation, police charged 30 year-old officer Dadrien Updite with one count of domestic abuse battery, from an incident that allegedly took place last Thursday.

Updite has been placed on administrative leave; which is department policy.
